Ultrasounds (not currently provided)

Getting a lab-quality pregnancy test and an ultrasound are the first steps you can take in making informed choices for your health. An ultrasound is a simple, safe, and painless procedure that users sound waves transmitted into your abdomen to get a picture or your pregnancy.

An ultrasound can confirm:

  • How far along you are
  • Whether or not your pregnancy is in your uterus
  • Whether or not your pregnancy is viable

When considering your options, such as whether or not you will receive an abortion or parent your child, an ultrasound can help you make your decision. Approximately 10 to 20 percent of known pregnancies end in miscarriage, though the actual number is likely higher because many miscarriages occur so early in pregnancy that a woman doesn't realize she's pregnant.
